The record

Ryan Clark
Founder
- 36 consecutive POC wins over four years at Cohesity. Every proof-of-concept became a signed contract.
- Country Leader, Canada and LATAM at Cohesity.
- Top ten, and the only solo competitor to place, at the AWS Enterprise Agentic hackathon, 2025.
- 25 years across Nokia, Dell, BC Hydro, Long View and Cohesity.
Ryan's relationship with technology started early: networking and internet fundamentals in high school, and contributions to open-source Linux projects before most people had broadband. What began as curiosity became a 25-year career across nearly every corner of enterprise technology.
He has been the sysadmin rebuilding infrastructure at 2 AM, the sales engineer running proof-of-concepts that never lost, the project manager holding timelines across multi-million dollar deployments, and the product thinker asking why the tooling did not exist yet, then building it.
Across roles at AutoTrader, Nokia, BC Hydro, Dell, Long View Systems and Cohesity he led sales engineering teams across multiple countries, was Country Leader for Canada and LATAM, and over four years at Cohesity built a proof-of-concept methodology that went 36 for 36. Not through shortcuts, but through a process so thorough that the outcome was never in question.
No CS degree. No MBA. Operations, engineering, sales, product, compliance and architecture, all self-taught, and a belief that the best systems come from people who have understood the problem from every angle.
Why this company exists
Two decades of spotting channel margin leakage by hand. The renewal that missed the quarter-end discount, the won deal with no renewal opportunity behind it, the registration that expired, the rebate threshold missed by four points. Every one of them was findable, in the CRM and the vendor portals, by someone who knew what to look for and had the time to look.
Then writing it down as software. Phi Core is that experience written down: the channel patterns it looks for are the ones that were being spotted by hand for twenty years, run against every vendor relationship at once, with the dollar value attached.
The company
Phi Intelligence Inc. is based in Vancouver, Canada. It sells one platform, Phi Core, with one module shipping, and runs a small consulting practice alongside it.
